This website and member portal are operated by House of Us (“House of Us,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are a nonprofit, Private Member Association (“PMA”) that offers community, education, and products aligned with our mission. By visiting our site and/or purchasing as a member, you engage in our “Services” and agree to these Terms of Use & Membership (“Terms”), including policies referenced or linked here (e.g., Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds, Testing & Standards, Legal & Safety).

1) Eligibility & Membership

- To access certain features, you may be asked to join our PMA and create an account. By joining, you acknowledge our nonprofit, member-first mission and agree to follow these Terms and our community guidelines.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, House of Us and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, suppliers, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, revenue, savings, data, or replacement costs) arising from your use of the site, Services, or products—even if advised of the possibility. 18) PMA & Nonprofit Governance
House of Us operates as a nonprofit and, where applicable, a Private Member Association. Certain communications, member resources, and events may be limited to members. Governance is overseen by our board and guided by our Legal & Safety commitments. Nothing in these Terms waives any non-waivable consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
19) Entire Agreement; No Waiver
These Terms, together with policies posted on the site (e.g., Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds), constitute the entire agreement between you and House of Us and supersede prior understandings. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that right.
20) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any separate agreements are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for disputes will be in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise required by law. You and House of Us consent to personal jurisdiction there.

You can review the current Terms at any time on this page. We may update or change these Terms by posting a new version here. Your continued use of the site/Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
